We will be pleased to arrange a confidential meeting, and provide you with information, or guidance through the process of making a gift.

Here’s what your tax-deductible donation can do:

Sponsorships to Secondary School

Giving $85 to $100 per month, or $1000 to $1200 per year, will enable a girl to attend Secondary Boarding School. Costs vary according to the student’s academic year, as well as the calibre, programs and facilities of the school. The cost of sending a girl to a local district school is less than for a provincial or national school where she will be groomed to go on to university and assume leadership positions in society. With your gift, we will place a girl in the best possible school and pay for her room and board, tuition fees, school supplies and some personal necessities. Click on this link for a list of the many items Power of Education Africa Foundation may provide. List of Supplies

We hope that you will commit to sponsoring a student for the 4 years of her secondary education. We know that unforeseeable circumstances can change a sponsor’s ability to fulfill their commitment. If this happens, we will do our best to find another sponsor for the student.

If you cannot afford a full sponsorship, consider getting a group of friends, co-workers, or family members together, each giving a little to sponsor a girl. Make the donation that you can afford and we will put it toward a child’s education.

What-GirlsPosing

We try to match one sponsor to one student. You will receive a photograph of your student. If you wish to correspond with your student, we will receive your letters and be sure that your student receives them.

Sponsorships to College, Polytechnic School, University

Sponsors may support a girl beyond Secondary school, so that she can learn a trade, vocation or profession. Costs vary between $500 and $1500 per year depending on the level of institution and programs.

Donations for Primary School Supplies

A gift of $100 or less enables a poor child to go to primary school in Kenya. The Kenyan Government pays tuition fees for primary school, but not ancillary fees. Poor caregiver grandmothers cannot afford the cost of uniforms, shoes, books, school supplies, and registration fees. $12 will pay the cost of a Primary School uniform.
